Species of Sound

Species of Sound is a music group inspired by the sounds of new wave and pop-synth combined with chillwave in a fresh, modern twist. 

Founded by Aaron Newman and Jimmy Keen, the band creates the soundtrack of life through personal and cinematic songs. In 2024, they began recording their debut project at Wasted Space Studios in Oklahoma City with producer Ethan Neel, who brought their vision to the forefront with his creativity and attention to detail. 

Species of Sound is gearing up to release their first single in 2025. Their music is filled with dreamy melodies and heartfelt lyrics, transporting listeners to a timeless place.
